We really want to help parents with their
questions. If you are new to the sport of swimming, the
questions are endless. We will be adding questions and
answers to this page for quite awhile so please keep checking
back. If you would like to email your questions, PLEASE do
so! I will put your question on this site (anonymously)
because others will more than likely have the same question.

QUESTIONS
How do we
tryout for VAC?
Contact Mike Hruska or Randy Trowbridge to tryout VAC for
1 week free! The coaches will place your swimmer in the
appropriate practice group after working with them in the
pool.
Why must we do
fundraisers?
VAC
is a non-profit organization that strictly operates from tuition,
donations, and of course, fundraisers. Without fundraising we
would have to raise our tuition fees to meet operating costs.
Each family is required to raise their share. Also keep
in mind, the VAC Board of Directors not only volunteer time from
their busy lives to keep a great team active and running, but just
like all members... they pay tuition AND are required to fundraise
as well.
Where do
I purchase swimming supplies & apparel?
The Verona
Aquatic Club orders their supplies from Simply Swimming.
Susie, the owner, has been a wonderful asset and is happy to fit
your child in the correct suit, goggles, fins, or any other
swimming apparel you need. Purchasing a team suit is strongly
recommended for all swimmers competing in meets for the VAC
team. VAC swim caps are mandatory during
competition. Caps are also available from Simply
Swimming for a minimal fee. Simply Swimming also provides a
discount to VAC families. Please contact Marsha Olson if you would
like order any "dry" apparel, meaning t-shirts, sweatshirts,
ect.
